The international competition will feature 11 feature films and 10 short films, including the experimental film ‘Armor’, by producer, screenwriter, and director Sandro Aguilar.
Co-produced with Canada, ‘Armor’ features the interpretations of Jean-Philippe Catellier and Eduardo Aguilar, and has already been present at a dozen festivals, including Curtas de Vila do Conde, Caminhos do Cinema Português and the International Encounters of the Montreal documentary (Canada).
The 43rd edition of the Cinéma du Réel, organized by the Pompidou Center in Paris, will take place from March 12th to 21st and – as it already happened in 2020 – will return to show programming only online, due to the pandemic of the covid-19.
Sandro Aguilar, 46, has more than a dozen films, including ‘Mariphasa’ (2018), ‘Voodoo’ (2010) and ‘A zona’ (2008), with a recurring presence on the festival circuit, and was one of the founders of the production company O Som ea Fúria.
