Films by Ana Rocha and Júlio Alves shown at a festival in South Korea

‘Listen’ will be in the ‘World Cinema’ section. The film will arrive in South Korea after being awarded at the Venice Film Festival, where it won several awards, including the Lion of the Future, for first works.

Listen‘ is Ana Rocha de Sousa‘s first feature film, inspired by real events, about a Portuguese family emigrated to the United Kingdom and who tries to recover custody of their children, after suspicions of mistreatment.

With Portuguese production by Rodrigo Areias and shot in London with a British co-production, “Listen” debuts on the 22nd, in Portuguese cinemas.

‘A arte de morrer longe’ (The art of dying far away) is also the first long-running work by Júlio Alves, based on a work of the same name by the writer Mário de Carvalho and will make his international debut in Busan, after being integrated in the IndieLisboa festival program.

The film stars Ana Moreira and Pedro Lacerda, in the roles of a couple in the process of separation, and is produced by Ukbar Filmes.

The 25th edition of the international film festival in Busan will take place from 21 to 30 October.
