Tivoli hosted another flash concert by Fingertips, who with an electrifying concert, gave a night of the best Portuguese Pop/Rock to the many fans who filled the room.
After passing through the Coliseu do Porto, the Fingertips headed to Lisbon for another flash concert, full of energy, featuring their biggest hits, such as “Picture of My Own”, “`Cause to Love You” and “Melancholic Ballad”.
These themes, which continue to win the hearts of fans, are the soundtrack to many love stories, as we can see at Tivoli, where no one remained indifferent, where it was difficult to keep the audience seated in their seats, music on and off, they jumped. from the chains to the rhythm of a line-up full of hits.
Fingertips is a Portuguese Pop/Rock band, formed in 2002, released their debut album All ‘Bout Smoke ‘n Mirrors in 2003 and reached number one on the radio with their first single “Melancholic Ballad”. This album also included “Picture Of My Own” which was part of the soundtrack for a TV advertising campaign and “How Do You Know Me”.
The band had a significant change in 2009 when vocalist Zé Manel left the band and was replaced in 2010 by Joana Gomes, who was the voice of the albums Venice in 2011 and 2 in 2012. In 2015 they went to Los Angeles to record at The Ballroom Studios and East West Studios with Mark Needham.
In 2018, Zé Manel returned to the band to celebrate their 15th anniversary and released the first single of the year “My Everyday”. The band takes on new life when they take the stage, and their appearances at Rock in Rio Lisboa and the Vilar Mouros Festival were memorable, but also the openings for The Corrs at the Estádio Municipal de Braga, at Estádio do Restelo for the legendary English band Queen or at a George Michael concert.
Fingertips are a phenomenon in Portuguese music, who continue to set the stages on fire wherever they go, with their energy, friendliness and music.
