First Breath After Coma and Salvador Sobral present “Amor i tremps”
From stage to digital, vinyl, and RTP Palco: Residência debuts new formats and presents the single “Amor i tremps”.
After being born in an intense artistic residency at Casa Varela, in Pombal, and performing in two sold-out concerts at the city’s Teatro-Cine, the project A Residência, conceived by First Breath After Coma and Salvador Sobral, now enters a new phase.
“For two weeks, we lived together in this house preparing a show. Everything you will hear is original compositions created during that time, between sunny days, rainy days, football matches, movie nights, and birthdays. What we present is not a Salvador or FBAC show, it’s an open door and an invitation to enter this space and experience some of these days here with us.”
Starting December 5th, this encounter takes on new formats. The project is now available on vinyl and all digital platforms, a special edition that brings together the songs created during the residency into a single album.
On the same day, the complete recording of the show premieres on RTP Palco, offering the public the opportunity to revisit the joint creation between First Breath After Coma and Salvador Sobral.
A Residência, a show that recreates on stage the intimacy of a rehearsal room – a symbolic space of creation, conviviality and sharing. All the musicians became part of the same collective.
After the enormous demand for the two dates in Lisbon, scheduled for January 12th and 13th, 2026, at the Teatro Maria Matos, and already very close to selling out, A Residência now moves to Leiria. The city where First Breath After Coma’s journey began will host the show on January 17th, at 9:30 pm, at the Teatro José Lúcio da Silva, in a new opportunity to experience this intimate encounter between the band and Salvador Sobral. Until then, it’s already possible to listen to “Amor i tremps,” a new single that precedes these releases and was born directly from the artistic residency at Casa Varela.
