Members of the public at the Spanish rock band Love of Lesbian’s concert, authorized by health authorities, could mix freely, although wearing a mask was mandatory.
People with heart disease, cancer or who have been in contact with someone infected with covid-19 in the past few weeks have been asked not to sign up to participate in this experiment.
Those who bought tickets for the concert can choose between three places in Barcelona to do an antigen test: Luz de Gas, Razzmatazz, and Sala Apolo.
Those who had a negative result received a code on their cell phone that validated the tickets for the concert, scheduled for 19:00 local at Palau Sant Jordi.
According to the organization, of all the tests carried out, six had a positive result. This was the first commercial event with such a large audience to take place in Europe during the covid-19 pandemic.
Tickets, priced between 23 and 28 euros, and which included the price of the antigen test and a high-quality, mandatory mask, sold out in eight hours.
Masks could be removed to eat or drink, in designated areas.
The organization of this show, had already been responsible for another one, with about 500 people, which took place in December.
