The 2023 Brit Awards and Mastercard have announced FLO as the first group to win the BRIT Rising Star Award, supported by BBC Radio 1.

Seven months ago, British r&b girl band FLO – Renée, Jorja, and Stella – released their debut single, “Cardboard Box”, which catapulted them to the mainstream and won over fans such as Brandy, JoJo, SZA, Victoria Monét, Missy Elliott, Kelly Rowland, and Sugababes.
The recent Happi remix of “Cardboard Box” quickly became the #1 song on TikTok, leading to over 400,000 creations in just one day.
FLO released their debut EP, “The Lead”, in the peak of summer 2022, an album that has accumulated over 70 million streams globally.
The final shortlist for the BRITs Rising Star Awards is selected by a panel comprising music editors and critics from the UK press, online music editors, directors at leading music radio and TV stations, as well as songwriters, producers, and agents.
