“Florbela Espanca – O Fado”
O Fado is the work that celebrates the 125th anniversary of Florbela Espanca’s birth – considered the greatest expression of female poetry in the Portuguese language.
This work presents for the first time the poetry of Florbela Espanca in book and disc in the voices of fado in the feminine.
The book includes the presentation, O Fado in Florbela Espanca with biographical notes, the sung poems and photos of the artists who give voice to the poems.
This work offers a CD with 18 themes of which 9 are unreleased recordings.

The author, editor Samuel Lopes will be with André M. Santos – musician, producer, artists Ana Rita Prada, Ana Laíns, Cristina de Sousa, Ana Margarida, Cristiana Águas and composer Ernesto Leite.
December 14th – Saturday at 16h00 presentation at the headquarters of the Vamos to Village Association in Montalvão.
