FNAC Live is back in 2023 for another edition, in the year that FNAC marks 25 years in Portugal.
On the 2nd and 3rd of June, the Jardins da Torre de Belém will be the perfect stage and setting for a true celebration of Portuguese music and communion between artists and the audience.
The first day of the event, June 2, kicks off with a DJ Set by Nuno Lopes, with his careful and eclectic selection of electronic beats of different cadences, from the deepest house to the most classic techno and from there to wherever inspiration takes you. can take. This is followed by a show by the Lisbon Film Orchestra, conducted by maestro Nuno Sá, in a Strings, Piano, and Percussion format. In this format, the LFO presents the best songs from the most recognized soundtracks in the cinematographic world with themes such as Skyfall (007), Hey Jude (Beatles), Somewhere over the Rainbow (Wizard of Oz), This is me (The Greatest Showman) and Mammamia (ABBA). The night ends with an Open Air Cinema session with the screening of the film concert “Circo de Feras” by Xutos & Pontapés.
The June 3rd program is divided between the FNAC New Talents Stage (NTF) and the Main Stage.
On the NTF stage, the projects Azia,Quase Nicolau, Peter Suede, Redoma and Velhote do Carmo will pass, in addition to Ana Lua Caiano who edits the new EP “Se Dançar É Só Afterwards” on May 5th.
The Main Stage hosts concerts by Gisela João, GNR, Nenny, Sérgio Godinho, You Can’t Win, Charlie Brown, and also the José Pinhal Post Mortem Experience project.
FNAC Live is also synonymous with the awarding of the FNAC New Talents awards, which aim to promote national talent and give a stage to culture, this being its 21st edition. Contemplating national talents in six different categories — photography, illustration, writing, cinema, music, and video games —, FNAC and Repsol announce, at the event, the winners of each area who, this year, will receive 10 thousand euros each, thus making a total of 60 thousand euros invested in Portuguese culture with this initiative.
FNAC Live is an event with the concept and production of FNAC and co-organization of the Lisbon City Council, with several partners that contribute in a decisive and unavoidable way to the celebration of national music, with free access and in one of the most emblematic places of the city of Lisbon.
