Rock in Rio Lisboa wants to continue to share the magic of SMILE. It is already next Tuesday, January 21st at 10am, that will start the pre-sale of daily tickets on the official website of the event and, until February 5th, when buying a ticket to the City of Rock, fans will be able to make someone SMILE by donating a free ticket to a charity of choice. The daily ticket has a cost of 69 € and the weekend pass 112 €, there is no additional cost when buying through the site, being the ticket delivered in digital format.
During the pre-sale period, when buying a festival ticket fans will be able to choose who to donate another one too. The list of entities includes ACAPO (Associations of the Blind and Amblyopic of Portugal), CEDEMA (Association of Parents and Friends of the Disabled Adult), CPR (Portuguese Center for Refugees), Crescer Ser and FENACERCI (National Federation of Social solidarity).
Following the success of the Rock in Rio Experiences Pack powered by FNAC and the limited edition 20% off Continente card tickets, both sold out, the time has come to start selling daily tickets and weekend passes. Festival-goers now have the opportunity to secure their place at Parque da Bela Vista, with exclusive pre-sale on the festival’s website.
This is the first time that Rock in Rio Lisboa has made a sales platform available on its website. There is no additional charge at the time of purchase and with all the advantages associated with online shopping: it is convenient and secure, respecting the privacy of your data. all users, and there is no need to print the ticket. The e-ticket sent is the only one you need to present at the Rock City entrance. Daily ticket sales at the usual venues will begin on February 6th.
The free ticket initiative, in addition to giving other people the opportunity to live an immersive experience in the entertainment world, arises from the belief that culture plays a key role in educating everyone as an individual and is a key vehicle for building and promoting values in our society. Data from the Gerador Magazine, presented in July 2019, state this: 94% of Portuguese believe that culture is very important for the construction of a more evolved society and even for a more developed economy (97%).
Remember that Rock in Rio Lisboa will take place on June 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th, 2020 at Parque da Bela Vista, expecting the most magical edition ever. In addition to the upscale soundtrack featuring artists Camila Cabello and The Black Eyed Peas (20th), Liam Gallagher, Foo Fighters and The National (21st) and Post Malone (28th), Rock City It also features 14 entertainment venues, offering unforgettable experiences – from the well-known World Stage, Galp Music Valley, Super Bock Digital Stage, Worten Game Ring, Yorn Street Dance, Somersby Pool Parties, 7Up Slide and Chef’s Garden, to the new ESC Online Sports.
