Office of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education announced that the number of foreign students in higher education has increased by 48% over the past four years.
There are over 50,000 foreign students in higher education, and already represent 13% of the total students.
It is noted that the latest data on demand for international students show an increase of 36%, with 7,507 applicants on 18 July 2019, up from 2018.
