With a consolidated prestige worldwide, “Forever King of Pop” returns, from 20 to 23 February, to the Estoril Casino’s Black and Silver Room.
[dropcap type=”background”]I[/dropcap]n honour of Michael Jackson’s life and career, “Forever King of Pop” is renewed in a short cycle of performances, inviting the public to rediscover the true essence of the American artist.
After having sold out, in 2019, all the shows held at the Black and Silver Room, “Forever King of Pop” returns, this time, to Casino Estoril with new songs and choreographies to mark the ten years of goodbye to the “King of Pop”, which took place on 25 June 2009.
Supported by Joseph Jackson, father of the musician and composer, and by his older brothers Jermaine and La Toya Jackson, “Forever King of Pop” has been touring countries like France, Mexico, Spain and Germany, carrying the legacy in his luggage unavoidable musical that is still sung and danced, and that many will never forget, of Michael Jackson.
“Bad”, “Dirty Diana”, “Thriller”, “Earth Song” and “Smooth Criminal” are some of the themes that “Forever King of Pop” revives and reignites, mesmerizing the audience with rhythmic choreography, a memorable wardrobe and many “moonwalks”, the singer’s brand image.
A choreographed project with rigour and dedication, which Michael Jackson’s own father referred to as “too good to be true” and where “it seemed like I was seeing him there“.
The main role is played by Alex Blanco, a 23-year-old London artist, who started to imitate the artist in the year of his death and whose videos on YouTube became so well-known that they made him a real star, with the “Human Nature” on stage.
