Founder of the Web Summit moves to Lisbon and will expand offices
Web Summit founder Paddy Cosgrave announced today that he will move to Lisbon, as well as expand the organization’s offices in the Portuguese capital, hosting the innovation and technology summit by 2028.
At the press conference on the last day of the conference, at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL), the CEO of the event also noted that he could not foresee the exact development for the next decade, but announced that the offices of the Web Summit will be “expanded dramatically “in the capital.
“My wife told me last night that we are moving to Lisbon, so the decision seems to be made. I have been here a long time, I will spend even more, as will my wife and our little son,” he announced.
Cosgrave assured that now will be planned not only next year but “the following ones.”
