Four Portuguese among the nominees for UEFA team of the year

Portuguese Anthony Lopes, Bruno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo, and João Félix are on the list of 50 nominees for the UEFA team of the year.

In a year in which he was Italian champion for Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo is for the 17th time among the nominees and tries to 15th in the team of the year.

Midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who moved in January from Sporting to Manchester United, repeats his presence in the nominees, after a year in which he established himself as an undisputed in England.

Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes and Atlético Madrid Madrid striker João Félix are two of the 21 rookies among the nominees.

European champions Bayern Munich are the most represented team on the list, with 10 of the 50 nominees, followed by Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, with eight, with Germany being the country with the most players (eight).
