The British magazine FourFourTwo continues to reveal the complete list with those it considers to be the 100 best players in the world. For now, only the last 60 classifieds have been published, but already there are the names of two Portuguese.
After Tuesday’s game, João Cancelo was unveiled as the 66th player on the list, the Juventus side won on Wednesday a player company with whom he played for Benfica youth.
They are Bernardo Silva of Manchester City, who is in 52nd place, immediately ahead of the Italian striker Lorenzo Insigne of Naples and just behind Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets of Barcelona.
Also noteworthy for the presence of two other well-known faces of Portuguese football in this list: Axel Witsel, who this season signed for Borussia Dortmund from Chinese football, is 74th, and Ángel Di María from Paris Saint-Germain is 63.
