Francisco Belo wins competition in Czech Republic
The Portuguese pitcher, already qualified for the Olympic Games, was just one centimeter away from his personal record, achieved this year on an indoor track, and beat the favorite, Czech Tomas Stanek (21.00).
Belo managed a series of good level throws, with only one nil and five over 20 meters: 21.27 — 20.17 — 20.98 — nil — 20.81 — 20.27, it was the sequence.
In the same race, Tsanko Arnaudov was ranked sixth with the mark of 19.57 meters.
In 400 meters, Ricardo dos Santos was ranked sixth with 47.38 seconds, continuing ‘far’ from his best and even from what he registered this season on an indoor track.
