Francisco Santos established with a new record in the 200 meters backstroke
During the 26th edition of the race, Francisco Santos covered the distance in 1,57.06 minutes, lowering 44 hundredths to the Olympic minimum and setting a new national record.
In March, he had already managed to impose the best Portuguese mark ever, then in Coimbra, with 1,58.22, and improved his record, increasing the Portuguese swimming pool to seven.
