Frederico Silva in the second round of Sophia Antipolis ‘challenger’

The Portuguese tennis player Frederico Silva qualified today for the second round of the challenger of Sophia Antipolis in France, after beating Bosnian Tomislav Brkic in two sets.

Frederico Silva, 334th in the world ranking, beat the Bosnian, 299th, by 6-1 and 6-3, in one hour and six minutes.

In the next round, the Portuguese will face the Serbian Filip Krajinovic, 109th in the world hierarchy.
