From today there are ‘Talking Machines’ in Cascais

The exhibition ‘Máquinas Falantes’, made up of phonographs, gramophone records and gramophones from António Tente’s collection, is inaugurated on Saturday at 5:00 p.m., in the Espaço Experimental de Cascais, in Cascais.

“Hundreds of vinyl records will also be on display, and visitors are encouraged to take their 78-pound-a-minute disc so they can hear it on one of the notebooks,” reads the statement.

‘We salute the return of His Excellency the Vinyl’ is the motto of this parallel exhibition, curated by the actor João Vasco. A debate with actors Bárbara Branco and José Condessa, about theater and the careers of young actors, accompanies the inauguration of the exhibition, on Saturday.
