Fu Yu eliminated in the third round
It finished the adventure of Fu Yu in the Olympic Tennis Tournament. The Portuguese was eliminated in the third round, in front of Japanese Mima ITO (1-4).
After losing (9-11), Fu Yu still managed to balance things in the second part (11-5), but ended up succumbing to the power of the current third ranking of the world ranking (5-11 and 4-11).
This ends the Portuguese participation in the female table tennis, which had in Shao Jieni (eliminated in the second round) to another participant. Marcos Freitas still continues in action in the male tournament.
