Gulbenkian Foundation awards scholarships to professionals with more sustainable business models

As part of its Gulbenkian Scholarship Green Skills for Executives initiative, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will award five scholarships for startups, micro, small and medium-sized companies that wish to accelerate the transition of their businesses to more sustainable models to participate in the executive program “Sustainable Finance: Green and Climate Finance”, from ISEG Executive Education.

This ISEG Executive Education program, lasting 56 hours, aims to help professionals and companies to incorporate the challenges of environmental sustainability into their management practices and support organizations in creating new sustainable habits, products, and/or services.

By supporting this initiative with grants equivalent to the cost of participating in the program, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation intends to contribute to the promotion of more environmentally conscious and responsible executives, with the knowledge, technical capacity, values ​​, and attitudes necessary for the development of a low carbon economy and a more globally sustainable society.

The executive program “Sustainable Finance: Green and Climate Finance” of ISEG Executive Education, whose second edition will start on June 2nd, has the institutional support of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action and special participation by Abreu Advogados and also with the presentation of real cases of EDP, Grupo Pestana and BNP Paribas.

Among other activities, lunch talks are planned with personalities, among which the ministers of Environment and Economy stand out, as well as CEOs of Euronext, CMVM, EDP and Grupo Pestana, and renowned figures such as Jorge Moreira da Silva (OECD), Ricardo Mourinho Félix (European Investment Bank) and Sebastien Soleille (Global Head of Energy Transition and Environment, BNP Paribas).
