Futsal World Cup postponed

The Futsal World Cup, scheduled from September 12 to October 4, in Lithuania, will be postponed for one year due to the world health crisis caused by Covid-19.

This information should be confirmed by FIFA in the next few hours, and the idea is that the championship will be held between September 12 and October 3, 2021.

The decision is largely due to the general stoppage of competitions, this at a time when there were only 13 of 24 teams qualified.

Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Solomon Islands, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Morocco, Paraguay, Portugal, Russia and Venezuela were the other teams that had already seen their presence in the competition confirmed.
