G20, action thriller starring Viola Davis premieres on April 10
The Oscar winner plays the lead role of President of the United States.
Prime Video announces the release date for the film G20, an action thriller starring Oscar winner Viola Davis, which will be released on April 10. Directed by Patricia Riggen, G20 follows US President Danielle Sutton (Davis), who becomes the main target after being attacked at the G20 summit.
After escaping her attackers, Danielle must outsmart her enemy to protect her family, defend her country and protect world leaders. G20 will soon be available as part of a Prime subscription.

Joining Davis in the G20 cast are Anhony Anderson as Derek Sutton, Marsai Martin as Serena Sutton, Ramón Rodríguez as Agente Manny Ruiz, Douglas Hodge as Oliver Everett, Elizabeth Marvel as Joanna Worth, Sabrina Ompacciatore as Elena Romano, Christopher Farrar as Demetrius Sutton and Antony Starr as Rutledge.
“G20 is an intense action film with a lot of heart,” say producers Viola Davis and Julius Gennon. “The film has a wonderful cast and is rooted in the basic instinct that we all have to protect the people and places we love most,” said producer Andrew Lzar.
G20 is written by Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss, with Logan Miller and Noah Miller on their own story. The film is produced by Andrew Lazar, Viola Davis and Julius Tennon. It is a co-production of Amazon MGM Studios and MRC, with production by Mad Chance Productions and JuVee Productions.
