A Voz do Operário hosted the 9th edition of its Fado Gala, organised by A Voz do Operário, in co-production with the Museu do Fado – EGEAC and with the support of Antena 1.
An evening of Fado and tributes to partners, instrumentalists, Fado singers, poets, promoters and the public, Tiago Góes Ferreira and Inês Carranca led this Gala.

In addition to honouring the great voices of Fado, this gala always pays tribute to the city’s community groups and their popular Fado singers, who nurture Fado from its roots.
Fado singers Carlos Paredes and Maria da Nazaré, godmother of the Fado Gala at A Voz do Operário, who passed away this year, were also honoured.

During the awards night, Fernanda Jorge, Filipe Maltieira, Cristina Maria, André Vaz, Cristina Madeira and Pedro Moutinho took to the stage at A Voz do Operário.
