[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he winners of the Insties Gerador 2021, the only prize in Portugal for content creators on Instagram, are known next Saturday, March 13th at 9:30 pm, in a gala that will take place online on the Insties Gerador‘s Instagram account, with presentation of the actress and communicator Joana Barrios.
In addition to Joana Barrios, will also participate, in this broadcast, to present the nominees and winners of the nine categories at a prize, Marta Bateira (Beatriz Gosta), the actor and dancer Cifrão, the host of program 5 for Midnight at RTP Inês Lopes Gonçalves, the musician Noiserv, the actress Ana Brito e Cunha, the influencer and artist Soraia Tavares, the musician Benjamim and the singer and actress Mariana Norton. The gala will also be attended by Inês de Medeiros, Mayor of Almada, the host city of the Insties Gerador.
Insties Gerador are the only awards in Portugal for content creators on Instagram. There are nine main awards for which 45 instagrammers are nominated: Best Instagrammer, Best Mural, Instagrammer to follow in 2021, Best Photo, Best Art, Best National Content, Best Portrait, Best Creative Photo, Best Minimalist Photo. The winners of three honorable mentions will also be announced on March 13, a voting process that involved Instagrammers who won previous editions of the Insties Gerador: Best Cultural Entity on Instagram, Best Brand on Instagram and Profile with the Best Stories that, between 2018 and 2020, have already awarded authors or entities such as Herman José, Serralves, Control Portugal, Dr. Bayard or Bumba na Fofinha.
This year, the Insties Gerador 2021 Awards received more than 65 thousand applications from Portuguese Instagrammers or residents in Portugal. The nominees and winners were chosen by the jury of the Insties Gerador 2021 jury, composed of members of the Gerador, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, from the gnration creation space, of the Clube de Criativos de Portugal, by representatives of the Ar.Co and the educational institutions of ESAD das Caldas da Rainha and the Municipality of Almada.
