Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo sold out Portuguese theaters

and promise to return soon

The band that has its roots in gipsy culture remembered its biggest hits “in a spirit of celebration and sharing” and brought the Portuguese public to a roar.

“ Bem bem Maria”, “ Volare”, “ Djobi Djoba” and many other songs echoed from Saturday to Sunday across Portuguese lands, making the shy ones lose their shame who, as soon as they started to hear the first chords of gipsy music, got up to perform the party, with lots of dancing, worthy of this culture.

After making their debut at the Coliseu de Elvas, on Saturday, the Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo performed to a completely packed Coliseu dos Recreios and Casino Estoril, on Sunday and Monday, respectively.

Although there were concerts with a seated audience, very few people remained in their seats. With a very well-structured line-up, which lasted around an hour and a half, the band of Catalan origin played a mix of rumba, flamenco, salsa and pop that had the audience delirious, from the first minute to the last.

Once again, the Gipsy Kings sang and enchanted Portugal, promising to return soon!
