“Gisela 10 Years” with special guests in Lisbon and Porto
Next January, Gisela João returns to her self-titled debut album to celebrate a decade of musical journey with two special events: on the 20th at the renovated 8 Marvila space, in Lisbon, and on the 27th at the charming Museu do Carro Eléctrico, in Porto.
Two locations, two nights, one celebration. Music, always the essence, will be revived. Gisela returns to the album that revealed her as an iconic figure in Portuguese music, changing the arrangement of the sound furniture, and dancing in ballet shoes, as only she can do.
The musicians who have accompanied Gisela João over these 10 years are joined by Justin Stanton on keys and synthesizers. Known for being part of the North American jazz band Snarky Puppy, and winner of 4 Grammys, Stanton promises to further elevate the musical experience of this unique night.
Xinobi joins the party after and until midnight. Xinobi is an influential Portuguese DJ and producer recognized for his unique approach to electronic music and for being co-founder of the Discotexas label that gained prominence on the international music scene. A long-time friend of Gisela João, Xinobi will transform the “stage boards” into a dance floor, ending a true night of celebration!
