Glass Museum of Marinha Grande allows virtual tours

The mobile application of the Glass Museum allows users to visit 360 degrees without leaving their home, says a press release.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he visit allows the user to visit all the visitable spaces of the Glass Museum, being led by Guilherme Stephens, who was the driving force behind the glass industry in Marinha Grande 250 years ago. In this way, all Portuguese and foreigners will be able to enjoy a guided tour of the Glass Museum without leaving their homes.

The visit allows to obtain all the information and images related to all the pieces and rooms of the Stephens Palace, where the Museum of Glass is installed.

The space brings together collections that witnessed the industrial, artisanal and artistic Portuguese glass industry, from the mid 17th/18th century to the present.

It is the only museum specifically dedicated to the study of art, crafts and the glass industry in Portugal.
