Gonçalo Oliveira in the ‘eighth’ of Chengdu challenger

Portuguese tennis player Gonçalo Oliveira has qualified for the hard-fought challenger of Chengdu, China on Monday when he beat Indian Arjun Kadhe in the second round.

Portuguese number 4 and 251th in the world hierarchy surpassed Kadhe, the 432th ATP, in two sets, by 7-6 (7-4) and 6-3, in a match that lasted one hour and 37 minutes

In the eighth, Gonçalo Oliveira, seventh in the series, will face the winner of Taiwan’s 300th-place Tsung-Hua Yang meeting and Japan’s Shuichi Sekiguchi, 458th.
