Google is gradually launching a new update for its Maps, which allows you to display more details on the maps of some cities.
As Android Police shows, the updated version maps appear with the location of crosswalks, pedestrian islands, and even more realistic dimensions for streets, junctions and intersections. There is also the advantage that these maps are more useful with regard to accessibility, displaying access for wheelchairs or prams.
Since Google is rolling out this update gradually, it will be natural if you have not yet installed it on your version of Google Maps.
