Google Meet will be limited to 60 minutes
Google, in the middle of quarantine, when part of the world was at home working and studying, decided to make Google Meet a free videoconferencing platform for everyone.
With this, for free, users with a Google account could create meetings, free of charge, up to 100 people.
Google, at the time, had already said that this offer was not forever. After September 30, some limitations are again imposed.
Google Meet has become popular with the pandemic, as have other video conferencing services. The reliability of the service and the fact that Google opened it to all users made it an option for many business conversations, many classes and meetings with friends and family.
It should be recalled that the Google Meet platform was only available to customers in the business or education sector, via G Suite.
