Swedish rockers GRAVEYARD return to Portugal in 2025 to present their latest album, entitled «6», on a unique date.
Graveyard, one of the most respected psychedelic rock and contemporary hard rock bands, returns to Portugal for a unique concert at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo, on April 26th 2025.
Acclaimed by critics and a loyal fan base, the Swedish musicians bring in their latest LP of originals, entitled «6», promising a show that combines the visceral energy of rock’n’roll with moments of deep introspection.
Recognized for their intensity on stage, the group led by the powerful voice and guitar of Joakim Nilsson prepares once again to reaffirm its status as an undisputed reference in the genres it embraces.
Formed in Gothenburg, running the year 2006, GRAVEYARD quickly conquered a special place in the hearts of classic rock lovers, with its very own fusion of blues, psychedelic, hard rock and an increasingly rare intensity these days. The following year, they started to talk with the release of the homonymous debut LP, which revealed the explosive chemistry between the musicians and a unique approach to composition. However, this LP was only the beginning of a meteoric rise that would lead them to sign for Nuclear Blast Records and. thanks to such acclaimed albums as «Hisingen Blues» and «Lights Out», solidify as one of the world references of the genre.
Not interested in bending to the corsets inherent in the “retro” label that was glued to them from early on, GRAVEYARD have been evolving, both in terms of sound and training. However, they have never lost the essence that distinguishes them: a visceral delivery, an irreproachable authenticity and an innate ability to translate complex emotions into catchy songs and ears. Today, they are an undeniable reflection of maturity and reinvention, and this return to the Portuguese stages takes place following the edition of «6».
Released in 2023, the sixth studio album of GRAVEYARD reflected a period of deep introspection and creative rebirth, being already the second to count with the current line-up, composed by Joakim Nilsson on vocals and guitar, Jonathan Ramm on guitar, Truls Mörck on bass and Oskar Bergenheim on drums. Composed of nine tracks, «6» perfectly balances moments of pure emotional fragility with bursts of energy that directly refer to the spirit of the most classic rock’n’roll, capturing the essence of a band that operates only by instinct, keeping alive the flame of authenticity and intensity that has always characterized it.
Over the years, GRAVEYARD has built a legion of fans around the world. With more than 120 million streams on digital platforms, 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a significant presence on social networks – including over 147,000 followers on Facebook and 49,000 on Instagram -, they are acclaimed by both the public and the expert critics. His concerts, dominated by raw energy and emotional connection to the public, are transformative experiences.
