Gustavo Ribeiro wins in Salt Lake City

The Portuguese ‘skateboarder’ won for the first time an event on the world street skateboarding circuit, in a fantastic event in Salt Lake City, in the United States.

Gustavo Ribeiro, overtook the American Nyjah Huston, guaranteed, in the last manoeuvre, getting 9.4 points, and secured first place, with another American, Alex Midler, completing the podium.

In this race that marks the beginning of the 2021 circuit, Gustavo scored 27.6 points, Huston scored 27.2 and Midler 25.4 points in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gustavo Ribeiro, who represented Portugal at the Tokyo2020 Olympic Games, a race he competed in despite being injured and got Portugal a diploma for his eighth place, in his debut year as an Olympic sport.
