Halsey has just released a solo version of “Die 4 Me”. Halsey started working on the song while recording the very successful 2020 album “Manic”.
The first verse of this theme appeared in 2019, with the release of the song “Die for Me” in partnership with Post Malone and Future.
Having shared a snippet of the song on social media last week, Halsey explained: “My fan base has known a demo of ‘Die For Me’ with just my voice for a long time. I performed my part of the song all summer and people have been asking for it ever since, so I decided to release my full version as ‘Die 4 Me’. Many, many thanks to Post Malone, Louis Bell, and Future for having me in the original version and for co-signing this version that finally sees the light of day.”
The 2019 version of “Die for Me” has nearly 900 million combined global streams, and the track has gone platinum in the US.
Halsey performs on June 10th in Portugal, at the next edition of Primavera Sound Porto.
