The solidarity action takes place in Parque Nascente, in the city of Porto.
It was in Parque Nascente mall that was in exhibition ‘Hands with Life’, where presented the work of four grandmothers who have crocheted more than 1000 squares.
In all, there are 1250 squares in crochet, a handmade result that will now be worked to give shape to several blankets that will be offered to needy children of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia.
Although this is an ‘eight-man’ work by the four authors of the project, the public is invited to participate by offering wool yarns with the purpose of creating more crocheted squares, thus helping no one go cold this Christmas.
Just leave that material, or even crocheted blankets ready, on floor 1 of Nascente Park from October 28 until November 28.
