South Indian rapper Hanumankind (HMK) has teamed up with New York rap icon A$AP Rocky for a remix of “Big Dawgs.”
The track fuses HMK’s crisp lyricism with Rocky’s signature confidence, blending New York grit with HMK’s Kerala roots. Clocking in at just under four minutes, the Kalmi-produced hit single also features two previously unreleased verses from HMK.
The duo first revealed the remix at the Rolling Loud festival in Thailand, when HMK joined A$AP Rocky on stage to introduce the song to fans for the first time. It was also announced that Hanumankind will make its debut at next year’s Coachella Music Festival in the US. This, along with the Ceremonia Festival (Mexico City), Lollapalooza India and more shows to be announced, has solidified HMK as a highly sought-after artist across the world.

Considered one of the biggest hip hop hits of the year, HMK reached dizzying heights (literally) earlier this summer with the release of the original track “Big Dawgs” and viral video. The song reached #9 on the global charts and peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and topped the R&B R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart. Recently, HMK joined the hosts of Apple’s “The Plug” interview to talk about their success both in their homeland and abroad and also talked about freestyle via “On The Radar”, which received great reactions online for its smooth flow and captivating verses. He has been heralded by outlets such as “Rolling Stone India”, “NME” or “The Guardian” as an artist to watch in the coming year, with the rapper continuing to break boundaries, mixing sounds, captivating visuals and unique performance energy that comes from an artist destined to change the landscape of hip hop to come.
