Harley-Davidson uses Android Auto for its Touring line

Android Auto continues to evolve at a good pace, without haste, but without pause, although the most significant is that more and more manufacturers are implementing Google’s intelligent system in their vehicles. And when we talk about vehicles, we’re not just referring to cars, but also motorcycles, which is why the next step was taken by veteran Harley-Davidson.

They will be the first beneficiaries of this contract between the brand and Google, and Android Auto will be incorporated as a software update for their Boom! BOX GTS pre-installed.

According to the Xatakandroid website, the agreement between Google and Harley-Davidson will be implemented in up to three series of Harley motorcycles (Harley-Davidson Trike, Harley-Davidson CVO and Harley-Davidson Touring) that will come pre-installed with Android Auto a from 2021, and will also be made available as an update that will gradually reach those that are already in circulation.

So now we have to wait until 2021 to learn more about the company’s plans for this update and its results.
