Helder Moutinho presented The Days of Freedom at the CCB

The talented fado singer Hélder Moutinho presented yesterday in Lisbon at the CCB his latest album Os Dias da Liberdade, which features some of the most beautiful fados, all of them with lyrics by João Monge and music by national music references such as Mário Laginha and Pedro da Silva Martins.
The fado singer’s sixth album has 16 fados, Os Dias da Liberdade, is a tribute to João Monge and features Pedro Moutinho as a guest and the musicians Ricardo Parreira on viola, João Filipe on guitar, Ciro Bertini on electric bass, Carlos Garcia on piano and Iuri de Oliveira on percussion.
The choice of composers was made by Hélder Moutinho and João Monge, some of whom he had already worked with: Mário Laginha in “Amor sem Lugar”, José Medeiros in “Dança dos Peixes”, and Marco Oliveira in “Garota da Mouraria”.
Os Dias da Liberdade feature a range of excellent fados that won over everyone who was at the CCB to see this excellent fado singer in a memorable concert.
