“Madalena” is the new single by pianist and singer-songwriter Helena Caspurro.
Helena Caspurro explains to us where this new theme comes from “Madalena” “is an autobiographical letter dedicated to my grandmother, almost forty years after her death – a song in search of the longing for childhood and the plenitude of existence, as a tribute to eternal love. Maternal.”
“Madalena”, is the presentation theme of a new album titled Massaiá, due out on December 21st.
Massaiá will be presented on the launch day, on December 21st, at the CCCI Auditorium, Department of Communication and Art of the University of Aveiro, at 9:30 pm.
We remember that Helena Caspurro already has a career with 20 years of artistic activity that began in 2003 with the EP Mulher Avestruz, then with the album Colapsopira in 2009 (from which the hit single on radio and TV, Se, was taken) and in 2013 with the Paluí concept album.
Helena Caspurro is an assistant professor at the University of Aveiro in the Department of Communication and Art.
