In 2025, HELLOWEEN will celebrate 40 years of history and return to Portugal for a unique concert at Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon.
The legends of German metal return to Portugal with an unmissable concert! HELLOWEEN will celebrate their 40th anniversary at Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon, with a unique date scheduled for November 13, 2025. This show is part of the band’s 40th-anniversary European tour, with the musicians promising to revisit the greatest classics of their discography, including some surprises and even some new tracks. The tour begins in October of next year and will travel across Europe for six weeks, always featuring the Finnish band BEAST IN BLACK as special guests, ensuring an epic night of heavy metal.
“We’ve prepared great surprises for the fans,” reveals Markus Grosskopf, bassist and one of the founding members of HELLOWEEN. “In addition to the new songs we will play live for the first time, we will also bring some songs from the band’s history that have not been heard in a long time or have never been played live. It will be a fantastic experience for everyone!” Vocalist Andi Deris adds: “Nothing compares to a HELLOWEEN concert. The energy of our audience is simply indescribable, and we are eager to give everything to our fans again. This tour will be bigger, better, and more impressive than ever!”
Since 1984, HELLOWEEN has been acclaimed by millions of fans at legendary festivals such as Monsters Of Rock, Rock In Rio, Wacken Open Air, and Loudpark, becoming a reference in the spectrum of melodic speed/power metal. Throughout their long career, they have released fifteen LPs, and four live albums, have been awarded fourteen gold records and six platinum records, and have sold over 10 million albums worldwide. The two volumes of Keeper Of The Seven Keys are, to this day, considered absolute landmarks of heavy metal, celebrated as essential albums for any fan of the genre.
After the resounding success of the self-titled album Helloween, which reached number one on sales charts in several countries and delighted fans around the world, the band now promises the next chapter, with a new album in preparation. Founding members Michael Weikath, Kai Hansen, and Markus Grosskopf, along with Andi Deris, Michael Kiske, Sascha Gerstner, and Dani Löble, have been working intensively in the studio to bring this next record to life, which promises to excite metal devotees. Before that, on November 13, 2025, Lisbon will host a historic night, where fans of all generations will have the opportunity to celebrate with one of the greatest metal bands in history.
