The lively spirit of popular festivities took over the Hotel Meliá Lisboa Oriente, with the now traditional Arraial de Santo António. As usual, the celebration brought together traditional cuisine, lots of music and good humour, living up to the festive spirit that runs through the country during this month.
Throughout the evening, partners, journalists and other special guests were captivated by the lively and warm atmosphere at the hotel.
The irresistible aromas that filled the air stood out: from the delicious freshly made farturas to the spit-roasted pork, which was a real success, to the sardines and caldo verde. The gastronomic offering was accompanied by a variety of drinks, which cooled down the hot night.
The musical entertainment was provided by the band “Os Carapaus, Azeite e Alho”, which performed a repertoire full of popular marches and other classic rhythms that are a must at a traditional Lisbon dance. DJ Kridan accompanied the guests until the end of the night.
The event culminated in a raffle for vouchers for accommodation at Meliá Hotels & Resorts.
