The Spanish company Iberdrola won a tender to install 336 charging stations in EMEL car parks in Lisbon.
[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ast week, the company had announced another contract for charging stations within the country. Iberdrola won in a public tender the award for supply, assembly, commissioning, and integration in the MOBI.E network of 336 outlets in EMEL car parks, in the city of Lisbon.
These charging stations for electric vehicles will be operated by EMEL and will have 162 AC sockets with 22 kW and 174 AC sockets with 7.4 kW, both for wall and floor mounting.
This award joins one made last week, when the Spanish company announced that it will install three double 22 kW charging stations in Montalegre and three ultra fast 150 kW charging stations in Beja, Bragança and Castelo Branco, also integrated at MOBI.E., national electric vehicle charging network in public spaces
