Ibrahim Maalouf & The Trumpets of Michel-Ange in Lisbon

French-Lebanese trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf returns to Portugal with a new project, Coliseu dos Recreios, on April 4, 2026

French-Lebanese trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf returns to Portugal with T.O.M.A – Trumpets of Michel-Ange, a show that is more than a concert: it is an artistic manifesto, a sonic journey between East and West, between tradition and modernity, between virtuosity and raw emotion.

With 19 albums released and two consecutive GRAMMY nominations, Maalouf is a phenomenon that transcends genres. From classical to jazz, from film soundtracks to collaborations with living legends of world music, his trumpet has echoed in the four corners of the globe — from the Lincoln Center in New York to the Hollywood Bowl in L.A., and the Accor Arena in Paris, where he was the first jazz artist to sell out the venue.
