The MHNS – Sintra Natural History Museum hosts the exhibition “Ictiofauna Nativa da Região Oeste”, open from September 24th to October 24th.
This exhibition, held during the commemorations of the European Heritage Days and the World River Day, comprises 8 panels that aim to raise awareness and raise awareness of the faunal heritage that may be at risk. The objective will be to contribute to environmental education by providing tools to understand and value the preservation of ecosystems.
In this way, it is intended to stimulate reflection on the theme of the environment and its importance, actively participating in the awareness of existing dangers.
This traveling exhibition is part of the Peixes Nativos project, developed by researchers from the University Institute of Psychological, Social and Life Sciences – ISPA and Águas do Tejo Atlântico, coordinated by the biologist Carla Sousa Santos.
