‘Iliza! – Back in Action Tour‘ marks the debut of the famous American comedian in Portugal.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he European tour originally scheduled for 2020 and postponed due to the pandemic has 13 performances in 8 countries and starts in Lisbon, at the Maria Matos Theater, on the 7th of October, in a co-production A Comic Soul and Força de Produção. Tickets are already on sale.

Known today for being one of the biggest names in comedy – with 5 stand-up specials on Netflix, Iliza Shlesinger has a legion of fans spread all over the world. In November 2019, she debuted her 5th stand-up special from Netflix Unveiled, which dissects the path to her wedding. Her previous specials include: War Paint, Freezing Hot and Confirmed Kills. Elder Millennial, from 2018, is the basis and motto for Iliza Shlesinger: Over & Over, her “fun-o-mentary” currently on display and that gives fans an inside look at what’s going on behind the scenes of the creation of your specials.
She recently broke down barriers to acting when opposite Mark Wahlberg in the Netflix film Spenser Confidential. Then we could see her in the drama Pieces of a Woman with the protagonists Shia Labeouf and Vanessa Kirby, shown at the 77th Venice Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival in 2020.
Shlesinger previously participated in the 2018 film Instant Family with Wahlberg and Rose Byrne as protagonists. Her Netflix series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show debuted on April 1 and recently was a guest speaker on the Jimmy Kimmel Live talk show on ABC.
