In São Brás de Alportel, the month of February is once again dedicated to the Heart. Love Letters, Trovas and Serenatas, exhibitions, children’s workshops dedicated to love, sessions on senior sexuality, music and poetry, among aphrodisiac flavours… will be the main ingredients of yet another cultural and intergenerational program“ Romantic Month – São Brás de Alportel 2020 ”.
[dropcap type=”background”]T[/dropcap]he Municipal Library Dr Estanco Louro promoted another edition of the “The Most Beautiful Letters of Love” Contest, which again challenges São Brasenses to rediscover the pleasure of writing love letters.
The most beautiful love letters will be presented in the third edition of “Trovas e Serenatas na Fonte dos Amores”, scheduled for February 15, at 3:30 pm, in Fonte Nova. On the same day, at 4 pm, the Municipal Library invites the youngest to the “Oficina de Miminhos” where they will hear stories of love and where they will be challenged to let their imagination run wild and to be inspired by love to do handicrafts.
Until February 22, the Municipal Library will showcase the Bibliographic Exhibition: “Nos Trilhos do Amor”. An inspired and dedicated show of love that proves the intense and eternal relationship between love and literature.
Inspired by St. Valentine’s Day, February 14, many restaurants in São Brás de Alportel have prepared special menus to celebrate this anniversary that can be consulted on the Municipality’s website.
On February 17th and 19th, three meetings on Senior Sexuality are held at the São Brás de Alportel Parish Council.
The meetings, organized by the Parish Council and supervised by the psychologist Tânia Graça, are entitled “Sexuality for life, for life” and are aimed at seniors participating in community intervention projects and promoting healthy living “Seniors in Movement ”,“ Coração Ativo ”and participants in community intervention projects of the São Brás de Alportel City Council.
