Inês Sousa, singer and songwriter, was part of the innovative Julie & The Carjackers and has participated, since a very young age, as a guest on many albums of well-known national projects.
Owner of a sweet and powerful voice, she is also a multi-instrumentalist, and currently sings and plays keyboards, cavaquinho, bass and percussion – in the bands of Afonso Cabral and Tipo, as well as in the music projects for children Mais Alto! and Gato Pintor.
A voracious lover of music and songs, Inês Sousa is now preparing to introduce the world to her compositions with the release of her debut album, scheduled for October of this year with the Louva-a-deus stamp.
The album features ten original songs and was produced by João Correia and António Vasconcelos Dias, extraordinary musicians, her accomplices and longtime friends, who will also accompany her in her live shows.
“Tornado” is the first single from this work and will be released on June 12th.
