Educational organizations (schools, universities, professional training entities, philanthropic institutions) are challenged to develop out-of-the-box innovation actions and projects that go beyond the traditional rules of school organization.
One of the ways is through the formation of teams that enhance meaningful learning experiences for students, trainees or apprentices. It is within this general framework that the Postgraduate Course in Pedagogical Innovation and Educational Change, from the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal, emerges, which allows training all education professionals to adopt new models of pedagogical organization and management. A fully online training that starts on October 23rd.
“Pedagogical innovation is a pressing area that must contribute to ensuring that educational change is rapid but sustainable,” highlights Diana Mesquita, professor and coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Pedagogical Innovation and Educational Change at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Taught by a faculty with solid scientific knowledge and recognized merit in the field of Educational Sciences, through the Education Improvement Support Service (SAME).
With a broad, flexible and easily adaptable curriculum to the emerging needs of educational actors, “the Postgraduate Course in Pedagogical Innovation and Educational Change departs from the real work contexts of the professionals who attend it and provides a systematized set of knowledge and fundamental tools for that educational actors design, organize, implement and monitor projects of pedagogical innovation and educational change,” he concludes.
The Postgraduate Course in Pedagogical Innovation and Educational Change, from the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, is 100 percent online and starts on October 23rd.
