Instagram will have a special app for children

Facebook is currently developing a version of Instagram specially created for users under the age of 13.

The project is being overseen by Instagram leader Adam Mosseri and Facebook vice president Pavni Diwanji. It should be remembered that, during her time at Google, this executive was responsible for the production of services focused on children such as YouTube Kids.

The purpose of this release will be to help protect younger users on the platform. Recall that Instagram has also introduced new measures to protect the youngest, preventing them from being contacted by unknown adults.
