International Meeting of Clowns in Vila do Conde takes place this week

The 7th International Meeting of Clowns in Vila do Conde has the theme: ‘Palhaças e Palhaços de Portugal’.

Clowns have, over time, survived the great events of the world. Between pests and wars, they always found strategies to overcome difficulties and resist the complications of the times. Now, at the beginning of the 21st century, clowns remain resilient and active.

With a sense of responsibility and solidarity, the Encontro de Palhaços program is entirely dedicated to Portuguese artists.
