The Iranian national team, coached by Portugal’s Carlos Queiroz, defeated Trinidad and Tobago 1-0 at home in Tehran.

Already after wasting a penalty, at 32, Karim Ansarifard scored the only goal of the match at 50.

Goalkeeper Amir Abedzadeh of Marítimo was not used by Carlos Queiroz.
